A driving force since 1928

Ernst Steiff invented the continuously woven drive belt for the company of his aunt Margarete Steiff in 1928, laying the foundation for innovative and ground-breaking conveyor technology from Giengen an der Brenz. In 1950, the company started its serial production of transport belts, and SCONVEY GmbH, the company that has emerged from Steiff Fördertechnik, is now among the industry leaders in Germany.
